Kathy Stephenson and Helen Morrison formed The Quiet Zone in 2021 to share their passion for live harp music played in therapeutic contexts, including health and wellbeing settings.

The Quiet Zone is a safe space for relaxation restoration and coming back to centre. Be captivated by the beauty of live harp music while being guided through a range of meditative activities, including mindfulness, meditation, stillness, poetry, movement, soundscapes and art.

Helen (music educator) and Kathy (counsellor) are experienced workshop presenters and bring a wealth of wisdom and knowledge to create an emotionally safe and held space. Participants are invited, through the healing power of the harp, to reconnect with the self and restore a sense of balance within a nurturing and soothing atmosphere.

Kathy is a well-known counsellor operating her private counselling practice ‘Tulip Tree Therapy’ in the Huon Valley and consults with clients in various locations in Hobart.

Helen runs a successful music studio in South Hobart teaching harp piano and cello. She enjoys walks in nature and in her spare time presents a radio show ‘Mostly Folk on Hobart FM.

Kathy and Helen look forward to welcoming you to The Quiet Zone at the Hobart Breathing Space on Friday October 15 2021 from 5:30 to 7:00 PM
Bookings https://www.trybooking.com/BTZJR ($35)

Enjoy some restful time out and relax to the sound of the beautiful harp in a guided setting.
